More Than a Cup of Coffee

Beau's Coffee opened up shop in January 2016 in a 500 square foot storefront in Wilmington, North Carolina. The original coffee shop had a staff of 19 with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), creating a path for people with IDD to become more accepted, included, and valued a employees. With great success, Beau's Coffee renamed itself to the famous Bitty & Beau's Coffee shop and moved to a new to them 5,000 square foot building in Wilmington, which now serves as the national headquaters.


Stirring up a digital strategy

Bitty & Beau’s gained national recognition with the amazing support they provide within the IDD community. Wilmington Design Co. was happy and eager to support Bitty & Beau’s cause by helping them create a digital identity. We worked hand-in-hand with Bitty & Beau’s team to envision a stunning and functional ecommerce website for their company. As a new business, B&B’s needed expert guidance on the best digital strategy and email marketing practices for launching and marketing their new website, and happily assigned our team to brew it all together.
