Space is Necessary for Growth
The first half of 2015 is on track to be the largest year to date for Wilmington Design Company. To accomidate, we are expanding the structural footprint of our Wrightsville Avenue building.. We've added over 1,000 square feet of space on the second floor to allow room for our growing web design and development department. It also provides the team with the extra meeting space needed for group and client collaborations. By the end of 2015, a second phase is scheduled to be underway that will add an additional 1,500 square feet.
Healthy Growth Needs Leadership
In addition to hiring 3 new team members, Wilmington Design Company has been hard at work building a leadership team that will help maintain the level of creativity and professionalism our clients expect. These department leaders will foster progressive growth in our team members, clients and services. This list includes some known faces boasting shiny new titles and responsibilities to match.
Carolyn Pikoulas Carolyn Pikoulas was recently promoted to Senior Art Director. She has been with WDC for over 8 years as a graphic designer, working on some of our largest accounts. In her new role, Carolyn will provide leadership and creative direction to our growing graphic and digital design team.
Eric Jones Eric Jones has been with our team for more than 2 years and was recently promoted to Account Director. He has over 5 years of experience working directly with clients for training and technical support. In his new role, Eric will oversee the management of new projects and provide leadership to our expanding account service team.
Chuck Emory Chuck Emory has been with the WDC team for over 4 years. He is a skilled front and back-end web developer with expertise in content management and data-driven design. Chuck was recently promoted to Senior Developer where he will handle ongoing product development for some of our largest clients.
Melissa Yelverton Melissa Yelverton joined our Internet Marketing team in early 2013. She has recently been promoted to Internet Marketing Manager where she will provide ongoing strategy and monthly analysis for our Search Engine Marketing and Pay-Per-Click clients.
Additional contributors to the leadership team include: Bill Hunter, President; Kim Hunter, Operations Director; Keith Riggs, Director of Business Development and Kelly Pollock, Internet Marketing Director. "We are really excited about the contribution that all of our talented team members are making," says owner and president Bill Hunter.
