Cool virtual to-do lists

November 18, 2009 | Posted by Carolyn Pikoulas
I'm the type of person who needs to write things down, or else I'll forget. In fact, I have several scrap papers on my desk and in my purse at the moment. But with so many new gadgets and free apps out there, we now have the advantage of choosing from hundreds of virtual to-do list, so that we can all have clean, organized lives. Here's a short list of some apps that you might find useful:

  1. iPhone Notes: Use it on your iPhone to write yourself a quick note and keep important information on hand. Send notes to yourself or others via email and sync them back to your Mac or PC.
  2. Evernote: Use Evernote to save your ideas, things you see, and things you like. Then find them all on any computer or device you use. For free.
  3. Google Tasks: Just click and type to add new tasks, set due dates or add notes, and check them off as you're done. Your task list stays up-to-date no matter how you access it. It's a simple list that's with you everywhere you go.
  4. Remember the Milk: Receive reminders anywhere and organize the way you want to. Use the map to see where your tasks are located in the real world. Share, send and publish tasks and lists with your contacts. Access your tasks on your web-enabled mobile device. Find the tasks you want with advanced searching.
