WILMINGTON DESIGN COMPANY WELCOMES Carolyn Risinger

Wilmington Design Company welcomes Carolyn Risinger as their newest Graphic Designer. Carolyn is a graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration. A native of Erie, PA, she brings work experience from newspaper and magazine publishers, as well as freelance design and illustration. She now resides in Wilmington, NC, and is happy to leave her snow tires up north.

Keith Beatty’s win for Marketer of the Year recognized his logo, website, and print advertising campaigns. His achievements in sales & marketing of new homes as well as his relationships with area builders & agents allotted him top honors.

Stevens Building won the award for Builder Print Advertising based on their excellent customer care and quality design and construction.

WDC serves as Builder Solution.

On October 12, 2006 Wilmington Design Company participated in the 15th Annual Eastern Aluminum Supply Open House. This year Eastern Aluminum Supply introduced their new Builder’s Solution area, which featured various area businesses that are closely associated within the building supply industry. WDC created two invitations for the Open House, a 6” x 9” direct mailer and a unique tri-fold invite, both generated interest and appeal to a variety of new customers. The event proved beneficial to all involved and was an overall success. Wilmington Design Company looks forward helping and participating in next year’s open house.

For the 2nd consecutive year, Wilmington Design Company was honored with a prestigious STARS Award for Best Parade of Homes Publication in the State. The North Carolina Home Builder’s Association’s STARS Award competition, represents best in the State’s new home construction, design and sales and marketing efforts, & recognizes superior achievements. This award symbolizes tremendous achievement, honor and distinction among industry professionals.

WILMINGTON DESIGN COMPANY WELCOMES Abby Neill

Wilmington Design Company welcomes Abby Lauren Neill as their new Project Coordinator. Abby graduated from UNCW with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Psychology in December 2005 and has held an internship with WDC since January 2006. A native of Lincolnton, NC, she resides in Wilmington with her adorable puppy Rucker.

WDC & JUNIOR LEAGUE OF WILMINGTON TEAM UP TO RAISE AWARENESS

The Junior League of Wilmington & Wilmington Design Company recently worked together to revamp their current ad campaign to promote volunteerism in our area. The new ads encourage education and focus on providing effective educational experiences. Appropriately named “Our work in the community has a name…” they feature children and give JLW credit for their total hours and monies donated.

A local, non profit organization - The Junior League of Wilmington strives to improve communities and develop the potential of women. They currently give over 10,000 volunteer hours annually and donate in excess of one million dollars. This has a tremendous impact in the lives of local children and families each day.

Wilmington Design Company donated their services in order to support Junior League of Wilmington’s mission.

WILMINGTON DESIGN COMPANY WINS STARS AWARD

Wilmington Design Company recently won the prestigious 2005 STARS award for best Parade of Homes Publication in the state. This publication, that was produced for the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association, was chosen best among the largest North Carolina markets, such as Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston Salem.

The North Carolina Homebuilders Association (NCHBA) 2005 STARS Awards Gala took place during the 21st Century Building Expo and Conference on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte. The awards show recognizes home building, sales and marketing professionals in North Carolina.

On Saturday April 29th, Wilmington Design Company was among area companies sponsoring the 9th Annual Golf Tournament. This annual event was held at ECHO FARMS Golf & Country Club and was the largest fundraiser for Hoggard High School. All proceeds from the event went to support the Hoggard Athletic Booster Club. WILMINGTON HBA SELECTS WILMINGTON DESIGN COMPANY FOR 3RD YEAR IN A ROW

The Wilmington Home Builders Association has selected Wilmington Design Company as designated design firm for 2006 Parade of Homes Plan Book Magazine for third year in a row. After one of the most successful Parade events in history, WDC was called on again to produce and design the 2006 Parade "Plan Book Magazine". The 2006 Parade of Homes will take place over two weekends - April 29th & 30th and May 6th & 7th.

The 2006 Parade Of Homes Plan Book Magazine will feature new homes that are located in three of the fastest growing counties in the state. This premier home building event, will bring together hundreds of new home buyers, builders and local businesses to view the latest designs and trends.
