Wilmington Design Company has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on a collection of projects for our client, Lakewilde of Santee. Lakewilde is an up-and-coming community of craftsman style homes, overlooking the beautiful Lake Marion near Santee, South Carolina. Along with their newly released website, the client sought out WDC to create a logo identity for the community and several pieces for their print collateral.

The creative process began with the logo. From the first concept of incorporating several different components of the area (e.g., trees, water, docks, boats, and birds), we worked closely with the client to pare the final design down to something that was clean, instantly recognizable, and complementary to any other elements it may be used with.

Once the logo was completed, work began on the website. Using a serene color scheme and organic textures throughout, the new layout is both reflective of the builder’s eco-friendly values and the harmonious melding of Lakewilde’s residential complex with its natural surroundings.

Behind the scenes, we made content management just as calming as the visitor experience by custom fitting our FETCH Admin software to fit the client’s specific needs. By using the simple fields within the Available Lot Module, our client can keep their potential home buyers alerted to the newest available home plans and lots. Additional modules help our client to create photo galleries of the community and its development, as well as keeping visitors informed of company news and area events.

Lakewilde’s reach is also able to extend beyond digital with business cards and informational brochures. Visual cues borrowed from the website tie in with the company’s branding, and help to creative an overall cohesive collection.
